TiATVTF,S AT PLAY. The first interprovincial ladies' cricket matcli played in the Dominion commenced on Friday between Wellington and Canterbury teams. Wellington won the toss, and sent Canterbury to the wickets. The bowling was not too good, and the local team was able to •compile 277 runs before being dismissed in the first innings. Miss A. Scott made 61. Miss J. Scott 56, Miss Curlett 41, and Miss C. Scott 30 (not out). The following will play for Carrington Road against Rovers in the Sports Ground on Thursday, play to commence at 10 a.m. sharp:— Benbow. Perham. King, Southall, Gwilliam, Avery, Lash, Jordan, Greene and another.
