BOROUGH COUNCIL

SPECIAL MEETING. The Borough Councl held a special meeting yesterday morning in connection with the new tail-race contract. There were present: The Mayor (Mr. G. Tisch), and Crs. Dockrill, Bellringer. F. E. Wilson, A. E. Watkins, J. F. Hooker, H. J. Gilbert and Geo. Browne. The position in regard to the contract was explained. The estimate of Mr. H. W. The Mayor said that if the estimate were so far out on this small portion of the waterworks extension contract, the Council would have to consider how the rest would work out. Cr.
