SHACKLETOX IN NEW YORK. By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright Received March 27, 5 p.m. New York, March 26. Sir Ernest Shackleton was the guest of the Transportation Club in New York. Responding to the toast of his health, he said he felt sure that Captain Scott would meet with success in his Antarctic enterprise, because he was adopting the right methods. He also believed that the Americans would have an equal chance of achieving the Pole. Washington, March 27. The President received Sir Ernest Shackleton at the White House.
