By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gore, Last Night. The first meeting of the Gore Athletic Society to-day was a great success'. Trembath, from scratch, giving away starts up to 48 yards, won the quarter-mile easily in the splendid time of 50 1-osec on a rough track. W. Milne, while engaged attempting to cross-buttock an opponent in the wrestling, strained himself s'o severely as to break three ribs.
