Thirty-five thousand textile workers and 22,000 bricklayers have abandoned, the sympathetic strike ordered in support of the Philadelphia strike. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. Lonaon, March 23. The Times' Washington correspondent says, that negotiations between tne Radical and Conservative sections of the Republican Party continue. Unless an agreement is arrived at fche President's legislative programme is doomed, and the prestige of the party will be seriously impaired.
