TRAINING OF S.S. TEACHERS. By Telegraph. —Press' Association Dunedin, Last Night. At the Presbyterian Synod to-day a committee which had been set up to formulate a scheme for the training o Sunday School teachers, presented its report, which provided for the adorn - ment of a lecturer on education in connection with the Theological College a salary of £4OO a year, with travelling allowance up to £SO, the I led;urer to lecture to tethers, confer witli the superintendents of schools, give model lessons, etc. After discussion it was decided that consideration be referred to the Theological College Committee ® consider the making of provisnon or teaching on education in Sunday School work in connection with the Theological College, both for students and Sabbath school teachers, and mainder of the proposals be /eterfed back to the committee to consider financial aspect and report.
