RAILWAY TIME-TABLE.
I NEW PLYMOUTH AND WELLING- ' TON. . REVERSION TO OLD TIME-TABLE. By Telegraph .—Press.' Association. ; Wellington, Last Night. Some time ago, owing to representations ifitom tlhe various chambers of commerce of the towns on the Welling-ton-New Plymouth and' the WellingtonNapier lines, the Minister of Railways agreed to delay for about an. hour the departure of the trains leaving Wellington for New Plymouth and for Napier. It was urged by the local bodies referred to that this would enable a more satisfactory service to be tuh between the East and West Coast. It is now understood that the new timetable, which will be issued in the course of a day or two will be practically a reversion to the old time-table so far as the New Plymouth and Napier imes are concerned. The former time-table suited the Railway Department very well, and now that there appears to be no great desire to try to alter the old arrangement in regard to the East and West Coast connection, the' Minister has definitely decided to revert to something very near the former timetable.
