SAILED. Bluff, Monday.—Sailed, at 5.45 p.m., Moeraki, for Hobart. THE RARAWA. The Ear,awa brought 80 tons of cargo from Onehunga yesterday morning., including 100 bags of sugar, 200 bags oi cement, 16 sacks of Hour, 1650 feet of timber, and a motor car. THE CORINNA. The Coarinna, which arrived here on Sunday from Onehunga, yesterday loaded 303 tons of cargo, including 9328 boxes of butter, which will be transhipped to the Tainui at Wellington. The •vessel left for Wellington at noon.
MORE COAL. The Kini is to sail from Greymouth to-night for New Plymouth with 450 tons of coal. She should arrive here to-morrow night, and will sail on Thursday for Onehunga with the balance of her cargo. SURCHARGE REMOVED. The Union Company advise that the additional rate imposed on intercolonial cargo and passenger rates on account of the Newcastle coal strike has now been entirely removed. SOUNDS EXCURSION ABANDONED. We are informed by the local manager of the Union Company that owing to insufficient inducement the proposed excursion by the Takapuna through the Malborough Sounds has been abandoned. THE NEW PLYMOUTH-ONEHUNGA SERVICE.
The rumor that has been circulated about the town to the effect that the Northern Company were withdrawing from the New Plymo-uth-Onehunga eerrice in iavor of the Union Company fails to receive confirmation at headquarters. The Paparoa, which has been loading a Home cargo in the Waitara roadstead, sailed from there for Nelson yesterday at 7 a.m. OVERSEA VESSELS TO ARRIVE AT WELLINGTON. From London—
