A PORT DARWIN SENSATION. By Cable.—Prees Association. —Copyright Received March 22, 0.30 a.m. Port Darwin, Last Night. A Chinese burglar entered the room of a diver named Hughes in the Club Hotel. Hughes attempted to capture the intruder, who, using a knife, inflicted a slight wound on Hughes, and escaped. A constable saw the burglar running, and fired three shots. The dead body of the Chinaman was found in the daylight in the bush. Two of the shots "had taken effect.
