OTAGO RUGBY UNION. By Teiegrnpn.—Press AssociatmDunedin, Las't NigEt. At the annual meeting of {lie Otago Rugby Football Union, Mr F. fcl. Campbell, wiio was re-elected president made some remarks on the question of professionalism. He said lie was not satisfied that because a player went on tour and lost wages, an<l was recouped for th&t loss, he should lie called a professional. He di-d not think It advisable to recoup 'players at present, however, as they had the Northern Union game at their doors.
