GREATER DUNEDIN.
ANOTHER BOROUGH JOINS THE CITY. By Telegraph.—Press 1 Assocint'"Dunedin, Last Night. A poll of ratepayers in North-East Valley was taken to-day on a proposal that the borough should be amalgamated with the City of Dunedin. Only a moderate amount of interest was taken in the matter, and out of 2621 on the roll no more than 985 recorded their votes. The proposal was carried by 687 votes to 284. This is the third suburb to join the city, Cavers'haw and South Dunedin having amalgamated some years ago.
