The Rosamond arrived irom Wellington and Picton yesterday with 151 tons of general cargo, including transhipments exßimutaka (from London), Star of Australia (New York), Ulimaroa (Sydney), Papanui (London), and Moana (Melbourne). The Rosamond left at 3 p.m. for Onehunga and returns here to-morrow, THE CORINNA. The Corinna, from Southern ports, is due here early this morning. Her cargo amounts to the good total of 750 tons. She leaves after discharging for Onehunga, returning here on Sunday. THE PUTIKI. The Putiki arrived in port about 6 o'clock last evening with 320 tons oi coal. Owing to all available 'abor being required to work the Corinna's cargo, it is doubtful if operations can be comjnenced on the collier until to-morrow. THE KOONYA. The Koonya, owing to being delayed at Greymouth, was late in getting round to the Bluff. She sails from the latter port to-day, but owing to her numerous calls it is not expected that she will • reach here before Thursday next. ] THE RIMU. The Rimu .passed the breakwater at, midnight on Wednesday, proceeding direct to Wanganui. Heavy seas prevented the vessel working Opunake. She is due here on her return from Wahganui to-morrow and proceeds later to Kawhia an Onehunga. HEAVY SEAS. A strong gale and heavy seas arotind Cape Egmont proved more than the little steamer Moa could contend against on Wednesday evening, and she had to return to the shelter of the breakwater at five o'clock yesterday morning and remained at anchor all day and was still "here last evening.
