President Taft and Earl Grey (Gover-nor-General of Canada) will be banqueted at Albany on the 18th. It will be the first time a President has met a Governor of Canada. THE TARIFF QUESTION. It is expected at Washington that President Taft in his tariff nroclamation will give Canada the minimum rates, and a promise to do his best to secure reciprocity at some future date.
