WOOL BUYING.
ABOLITION OF THE DRAFT. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, March H. Two hundred and fifty English wool buyers, with 350 Continental and thirty American buyers, have signed protests against the abolition of the wool draft. At a meeting of buyers in London it was unanimously resolved that in the event of any attempt being made ro catalogue or sell wools in London v-uk- ! out the customary draft allowance the committee of the Woolbuyers' Association call upon the signatories to abstain from buying at public auction or by private treaty.
