Mr. O'Leary visited on various occasions Manchester. Leicester, Nottinslam, Leeds, Bradford, Northampton. and otlier leading centres ot English manufacture. He also found time to visit Germany, Belgium, France and Italy. Mr. O'Leary speaks highly of the general tone of trade in England and of 'he courtesy and kindness extend, ed him in every way. Everywhere he found j eople interested in New Zealand and th 3 doings of its people. While away Mr. O'Leary purchased several thousands of pounds' worth of £oods. the first shipments of which are now coming to hand. It is evident that the high ivputation gained liv the Melbourne Clothing Company with the Taranaki public is to be ay ell maintained.
