PERSONAL.
Mr. J. C. Morey left last night by the Rarawu for Auckland, where he will catch the Mongolia for England. A Melbourne cable message states that advices have been received of the death of Sir Malcolm McEacharn, at Cannes, while on a yachting cruise in the Mediterranean.
Amongst the passengers to Auckland by the R a raw a last night were the following. Messrs. George Ramson, J. Morev. T. K. Skinner, E. and E. W. Griffiths. P. A. I-ladley, and J. R. French and R. Black, general manager and inspector of the Bank of New South Wales.
