The strike ot Bradford wool-combers ,is over the question of the non-recog-nition of trades unions. Nine hundred men are now out. The strikers are generally peaceful, out some entered premises and stopped the machinery. A conference ot masters and men agreed to submit the settlement proposals to their principals, and, in the event of a continued disagreement, to ■refer the dispute for arbitration to the Lord Mayor of Bradford. , The Daily Telegraph states that unless the strike terminates sueedily the whole worsted industry will be disorganised. Stocks of tops .are scarce, and many firms' deliveries are behindhand.
