SYDNEY HARBOR COLLISION.

VESSEL CUT IN TWO. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Sydney, March 9. The WyTeeiua struck the Kurrajong a terrible blow at right angles amidships and almost cut her in halves. A vast volume of water poured into the collier, extinguishing her fires'. The vessel settled by the head immediately, and within a few minutes plunged headlong to the bottom. The Wyreema immediately lowered boats and rescued the crew, with the exception of one man. The night was dark. A number of motor boats and other craft were quickly on the spot, and picked up the missing man. The damage to the Wyreema is' not serious, being confined to three small holes in her bows above t'.ie water-line. The collision was apparently due to the Kurrajong, in seeking to avoid a sailing craft, getting right across the Wyreema's couvse.
