The latter diasiiosed blood-poi-soning, and an opera ti/>n was deemed necessary. The unfortfmate gentleman looked noon the marfter as a most trivial affair, and wa.f in the best of spirits. News of his,death, which occurred about midnight on Tuesdav. will come as a shock to his many 'friends, who will join in ten dering deenest condolences with his -wlife and other relatives.
