"THE SCARLET TROUBADOURS." To-morrow night at the Theatre Royal, and for positively two nights only, the delightful and remarkably successful English musical company, "The Scarlet Troubadours," will commence their brief return season after a two years' phenomenally successful tour of Australia, a tour which, viewed from every standpoint, has been one long series of triumphs. The continuous success and enthusiastic reception accorded to the "Troubadours" wherever t-licy have appeared is urged as a coir "'.icing proof that Mr. Brans>'combe lu\ supplied a long-felt want in lrigli-class and humorous \>; romance which does not in the degree depart from its hi'gh place o. ollence to wear the mask of come.' The "Scarlet Troubadours" introduce \ new form of musical entertainment vhich is now at the zenith of its popularity in England. They maintain a high standard of vocal excellence, and supply an abundant fund of refined humor, sparkling wit, and clever comedy given in costume and character. She was born in London, and until she was sixteen years of age was in a convent school. She was 1 taken to Australia, and from thence to South Africa, where her theatrical career started with Mr. Leonard Rayne In drama, playing children's and soubrette parts.
