Ground officials for the spdrts minting on Easter Monday were also appointed. Tl'ie programme as drawn up by the sub-committee was adopted after alteration. It includes five amateur running, event?, an amateur walk, four cash runlrnirr events, three cash cycle races nnl Highland events. In .Hldit'Oii to the donations of trophies already acknowledged, Mr. .1. Bennett offered a gold medal as first prize tor the amateur 440vds. Votes of thanks to donors of prizes ■were passed, and it was resolved to make an energetic canvass for 2s tirt subscriptions, and donations towards the prize fund for the amateur events.
