SUMMARY and forecast. By .-Press Association. Wellington, liast Nisiht. "Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary a°nd forecast: The barometric pressure has' decreased ■ dowly everywhere since 9 a.m. Cioudy, yarn and kazy weather has prevailed, with moderate to strong easterly winds. The •weather has been unsettled about Auckland and northwards. The present indications are for warm and humid conditions, increasing cloudiness and freshening northerly winds, and a falling barometer everywhere. A low pressure area exists to the westward of New Zealand, and the barometer will probably fall low in the south after forty-eight hours.
