SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Bp Telegropn.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' .summary and forecast: -Strong southjerlv winds, with heavy showers, brought (cooler weather and a high barometer on Sunday morning. To-day the weather las been very unsettled northwards oi Auckland. H«»vy rain was reported this afternoon at Cape Egmont, and changeable weather elsewhere. Present indications are for a rising barometer shortly in the far north, and a falling Urometer in the south. Strong east«iv ™nds are probable in the north, and freshening northerns elsewhere. Warn and "changeable weather is provable generally, cloudy and hazy at toes in most parts, but unsettled m the extreme north and south.
