CRUSHED TO DEATH. By Teiegrapn.—Press Association. Carterton, February 25. A shocking accident happened at ' Cross Creek yesterday, causing the death of John Bolton, a native of Scotland. Bolton was loading an engine with coal, working at a crane us'ed for | the purpose. The cranes are pivoted to the decking, -and with constant use the ' pivot on this crane had worn through, i and the crane fell on top of the unj fortunate '"man, crushing his back through his chest.
