As was expected, the Guards won liie teams match, leading by a good margin from the Stratford Rule Club and maintaining their reputation as the strongest shooting unit in Taranaki. The highest individual score in the teams match was made by Rifleman : A. 11. liny, of the Kaponga Ride Club, who 'otherwise shot with indilferent success at the meeting.
