"* -*1 ■ I<r "i™ r '*" The trouble which has been experienced during the past six weeks at the bore of the above company, situated on the Carrington RoaiT, was overcome on Wednesday. The well was then pumped dry at a depth of 2047 feet, at which depth water is s'hut off. Yesterday the sin. easing was lowered. The indications at the bore are very encouraging, and each pumping brings up quantities of oil. It was expected to have the well completed—unless further trouble is experienced—in three or four weeks' time; that is. it is expected to bo on the oil proper. A number of men are now engaged doing the necessary excavating' for" large tanks for storage purposes. It is the intention of the company within the next tew months to commence several other bores on its property.
