METHODIST CENTENARY
STARTING EARLY. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Sydney, February 22. Next week the celebrations in connection with the centenary of Methodism in Australia will commence. Strictly Speaking 1915 is the centenary year of the arrival of the first misisonary, the Rev. Samuel Leigh, but as it is desired to commemorate the event by raising £50,000 for a theological institution, an early start is being made.
