WIFE CHAINED TO A CHAIR,
By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Paris, February. 20. Parat, a chemist, actuated by insane jealousy, imprisoned his wife on his business premises for two months. The police found her seated in a chair, wearing an irai collar and chain, padlocked to a bed, with another chain to a wardrobe. Pa rat, when arrested, declared that he adored his wife and wanted to keep her to himself.
