CUP TOURNAMENT. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright Christehurch, Saturday. The second competition for the 'polo' cup presented by Mr. Arthur E. G. Rhodes was commenced yesterday. The Christ-church A team (scratch) met Pareroa (6 goals handicap), the present holders of the cup, who defeated Christchurch A by 9 goals to 8. Hawarden (0 goals handicap); beat Tepapa (10; goals handicap) by 15 goals to 12. Christchurcn, Last Xi xht The polo tournament for the Rhodes Cup was continued on Saturday, when Tipapa B (12 goals handicap) beat Christehurch B (15 goals handicap) by 20 gonls to 18 goals; and Pareora (six goals handicap) beat Hawarden (same handicap) by 14 goals to 11. T'h-e tournament concludes on Monday, wli'-ri Pareora and Tipapa B meet.
