Having purchased Messrs H. Jakes & Co.'s Business as Coach Proprietors and Livery Stable-keepers, I wish the public to know that there will be a Thrice] Weekly Service only from Stratford to Whangamomona. Coach will leave Stratford every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY, on arrival of the Mail Train, returning from Whangamomona every TUESDAY. THURSDAY and SATURDAY, leaving Whangamomona at 7.30 a.m. The Coach puts up at the Commercial Stables. Fares as under:— Single. Return. Toko 2/- 3/Douglas 3/- 5/Strathmore .. 7/6 12/6 Pohokura .. .. 15/- 25/Whangamomona 20/- 35/Passengcrs requiring return tickets must pay for same on first journey ar otherwise single fares both ways will 'be charged. Leaves Waitara for Urenui at 8.30 a.m. and 5.45 p.m. From Waitara to Uruti, Okau, Tongaporutu, Mokau, and Awakifio EVERY WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY, returning THURSDAYS and MONDAYS. Passengers can therefore reach Mokaa on Saturdays, spend a day there, returning on Mondays to catch New Plymouth train the same evening. All Goods at reasonable rates and promptly delivered.
