THE COAL STRIKE.
THE OWNERS' TEEMS. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Sydney, February 19. In a statement handed to the press, -the Xortliern owners show that tlioy have no intention of accepting an unequivocal resumption. The statemeut makes dear that the owners' terms :n .granting conferences are these: When
the Wages Board meets again the miners must submit their grievance,#, pits must be ready to receive miners on "Wednesday morning, and miners must be ready to go to work at the usual time under the old conditions. When these conditions are complied with, the Wages Board may then proceed with its work.
Resumption of work at the South .Clifton mine, tiie only southern mine idle, is blocked by an old-standing local difficulty.
