Mr. V. Messenger, architect, invite* tender?, to close March 8, for the erection of a block of shops at Inglewooj. A special general meeting of the. Taranaki Acclimatisation Society will he held at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening next, at 7.30 o'clock. The Rev. I. Jolly, M.A., Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of New/Zealand, who is at present spending a tvvr days in Plymouth will occupy the .pulpit at St. Andrew's Church to-mor-row night. The service commences at 7 o'clock.
