SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegram.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Rev. D. C. Bates' summarv and forecast are as follow:—Fine and pleasant weather has been experienced southward of Kawaia and Napier, and cleared up this afternoon in the far north. Tae barometer has fallen steadily in Ue south, but has continued high generally. Present indications are for freshening northerly winds and mild and changeable weather northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and northerly winds, veering to westerly, elsewhere witn equally and unsettled, weather in the extreme south, but probably fair elsewhere. A low pressure area is due to pass in the south on Sunday.
