The conference of the Amalgamated Society (if Railway Servants was continued '.D-day. It was decided that the collision <u" privilege tickets should lie extern;; d to deserving juniors assisting to support widowed mothers. It was resolved to ask the Department to grant one privilege ticket quarterly to (superannuated members and their wives. It was decided that, second division members he represented on the superannuation fund board by four members', two for each Island, instead of three, a* at present. A vigorous profst was entered against the continuation of paying claims to members of the first division out of the Railway Superannuation Fund, and it was decided that the Act be amended to make provision for widows and children of superannuated members deceased, also for widows and children of deceased members retired as unfit for duty. It was resolved that benefits under the Workers' Compensation Act should not interfere m any way with the benefits under the Railway Superannuation Fund.
