SUPPRESSING GUN-RUNNING. A REVOLT OF TRIBESMEN. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Calcutta, February 14. An energetic campaign is in progress against gun-running in India. Ten extra vesesls are employed on the Mekran coast and in the Persian Gulf. Tribesmen in Bastar, India, armed with bows and arrows, revolted and looted the bazaars, burned the police posts.', and schoolhouses.
