■♦ « i SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By TeleerimTi .—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast as follower—The winds have changed to the westward in the North Island, and to southerly generally in the south. The weather has continued ■warm and humid in the north ) hut fine, ;V. though rain is reported this afternoon between New Plymouth and Wanganui, and in the extreme south. Rain fell generally on Monday night on the west coast of the South Island. Present Indications are for a steady rise in the ; barometer everywhere, with moderate to strong southerly winds prevailing, and showery and changeable weather probable in many parts.
