At the Supreme Court Henry Hammond wa.-, charged with opening a postal packet, lit T.iuranga, and with the tliei'L oi' CS His. Defendant was found guilty on the first charge. He had hei'ii three mouths in custody, and vfnß sentenced to seven days' imprisonment with hard lalior.
Horace Wilson was found guilty of indecent assault on two girl., at I'ort Albert, and was remanded till Thursday.

In the Supremo Court to-day, Krcieriek Gillclt was sentenced to live years' imprisonment with hard labor oil two counts of indecent assault on two girl*, aged nine and ten respectively. James Choat, charged with a similar offence on a girl of six, was sentenced to two years with hard labor.
