ARMING THE CADETS.

The- Birmingham Small Arms Company has received an order for a laTge consignment of rifles for Australian cadets.

The Morning Post says the news has eaus'ed great satisfaction to the workpeople, who have been slack lately. The fact that the arming of the cadets is not being postponed until the completion of an Australian small arms factory is an earnest of the Commonwealth's desire to push forward universal training.
