The Rosamond arrived from Onehunga on Saturday morning and left in the afternoon for Wellington with 1800 crates of cheese for transhipment to the Morayshire. THE RIMU. The Rimu is due from Onehunga, via Raglan and Kawliia, on Wednesday. •The same day she will leave for Opu•nake and Wansranui, returning here on Friday and sailing shortly afterwards for Onehunga. A BIG CARGO. One of the most extensive cargoes that have ever been shipped from New York for Australasia was brought •>'>- the steamer Star of Australia, which arrived at Melbourne on February ?». It comprised 11,000 tons of general merchandise, of which 4000 tons are for Melbourne. In addition to this great load, the vessel had 2000 tons of bunker coal when she commenced her vovage. Never during .-er long career had ' she previously carried such a big cargo. After discharging at Melbourne. ,the Star of Australia continues her voyage to Sydney and New Zealand ports. '_ !.. The Canterbury Shipping Co.'s new | J steamer Breeze, wliielf arrived in '! Zeal.-irvl on th? 7th inst. from Home, is a vessel of 720 tons, and is built after .the same style as the company's Storm ' -and Ripple. Mr. R. H.
