ACCUSED BEFORE THE COURT. BAIL REFUSED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Friday. John Mnton Paull was before tlw? Court this morning, charged with shooting with intent to murder. The police asM 'for a remand for a week. Accused's counsel did not object, but implied for bail, which was refused. Paull i 6 about nineteen years of age, and was employed by a local firm of, grain merchants as a junior clerk. Th? affair has created a profound sensation, as accused is well known locally.
