THE TRTAXGUAR MATCH
The Taranaki Guards' team to compete in the triangular match 011 Monday nest is as follows:—Col.-Serut. Hartneli, Sergt. Oliver, Private Grove, Corporal •Bruce, Privates Short. Bill. Blanchaid and Xicholls.
The championship belt was won l.v Private -rover, after very hard shoeing. The scores will appear in our next issue.
The Kaponga team were to have lived a match with Stratford on Thursday, hut owing to the latter bein«r unable to fulfil the ongagenufat -ivaetice. :!,t whieii some excellent shooting was done. The ranges were 200, .jOO and 600yd=. Rifleman Guy headed the list with OS, being closely followed by Ki fie in an Henderson with 97. whilst five others ma'ie scores ranging from :)"> down to 02. If this lonn is reproduced at New Plymouth in the five-men teams inaTcii. they should be hard to beat.
