Violet Gharle.sworth was charged at Derby with defrauding Martha Smith of £OOO, and Dr. Edward Jones ot large sums. Accused, who had assumed the name of Cameron, was remanded to the Old Bailey. Biolet Charlesworth and her mother are in Derby prison, having been unable to find bail. The alleged frauds with which they are charged were committed in 1903 and 1908.
