Wellington, Last Night. The Australian cricketers arrived this morning by the Moeraki, and were welcomed at the. whari by Mr. F. Simpson, S. il. Emery, A. -T. Hopkins and C. A. Ciorry. of Xew South Wales; E. R. Mayne and W. -T. Whiffy, of South Australia; and N. Dodds and A. C. Facey, of Tasmania. Most of them are on uie young side, and are said to be as "keen as mustard" after cricket.

The match against Wellington will commence on the Basin Reserve on Friday at 2 p.m., while on Saturday and Monday a start will oe made at noon. The visitors' team will probably not b? announced until the morning of fclve match. The team was officially welcomed by tie Mayor at the Town Hall in the afternoon.
