A BIG AMOUNT INVOLVED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Loudon, February 8. Lamilo, a music-hall artiste, Ferdinand Eggena, her husband., and Percy Easton, a motor car agent, were charged Eft Bow Street with obtaining £7OOO worth of jewels by false pretences from W. Wood, a jeweller in Brook Street, London. It is alleged that Eggena represented ihimself as the owner of twenty-five cars, and obtained the jewels and afterward pawned them. Lamilo, on behalf of Eggena, had previously attempted to pawn a p/'arl necklace worth £30,000. Thev were remanded, (Eggena being allowed bail in €2OOO, Easton *£2ooo, and Lamilo in £SOO.
