STRIKE AT GISBORNE.
BUILDERS claim higher wages. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. Twenty-eeven Europeans employed at the freezing works construction at Tokomarn Bay by Bull Bros., building contractors, struck this morning for an increase from eight to nine shillings a day. A number of natives also employed failed to turn up. The contractors anticipate no ditliculty in finding men".
