RELAY RACE. The second round of the relay race between the Beach and the West End teams, resulted in an easy win for the Beach. The water polo match was also won by the I'facli, who were victorious by 4 goals to I. Hawkins (3) and Bro'vn M-ored for the Beach and Laing for uie West, The position at the end of the second round is as follows:—Water polo: East End, 4 wins 0 losses; Beach 2 —2; West End, o—4. Relay races: Beach, 4 wins 0 losses; West 1 win, 1 dead heat, 2 losses; East, 0 wins, 1 dead heat. 3 losses. On Friday, at 6 .p.m., the East will meet for their third round fixture and next week Beach will meet East and West in turn. The competition eonchides with the third round.
