DISAPPROVED BY COLONIAL REPRESENTATIVES. By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright Loudon, February C. Lord Stratheona (High Commissioner for Canada) disapproved of Sir Reginald Knock's' block settlement scheme. Captain R. Collins (Commonwealth Agent-General) said Australia did not want colonies for the unemployed of the cities. He urged the trial of systems like Mr. Gwynn's. Mr. Hall-Jones (High Commissioner few New Zealand) favored individual rather than corporation settlement.
