Bates to-night issued the following weather summary and forecast:—A small westerly area of lowpressure passed in the south on Sunday. and the weather has been generally warm and humid and cloudy, with misty rain in some parts. The barometer has fallen slightlv in the Sou'h since noon to-day, and low pressure exists to the westward of Xew Zealav.il, and freshening northerly winds are probable generally with warm and hazy weather. Increasing cloudiness, electrical disturbances and fchowerv weather ire probable shortly.
