The Porte intimated that the sending ef the Cretan deputies to the Greek National Assembly would he considered a casus belli. Thereupon the protecting Powers refeolved not to permit such provocation. The Turkish licet was ready to start for Piraeus, and the Third Army Corps was fready to enter Larissa plain. A British battleship, three cruisers and four destroyers have left Malta for Greek waters. It is announced in Athens that the National Assembly would not be convoked until 1911, and the restricted kingdom under the Anglo-German arbitration agreement would be prolonged until 1914.
