OPENING Ob" YOI'NG MM) SF.ASUX The Xew Plymouth East Flying Club have decided to open the season ior' young bird races at an early date, and with tins object in view kave acquired numerous trophies for competition in the various events. The trophies will be displayed in the shop window of Mr. J. Bennett, jeweller, to-day (Saturday). The Xelson Hoj/iing Club sent a hamper of birds, per s.s. Corinna, to Xew PFfmouth yesterday, and they WvVe liberated at six o'clock this morning in fair weather.
